I absolutely LOVE when that happens. I really, really do. I’m a big word buff and I love looking up a word when I hear or read one I’ve don’t recognize. Wonk is a noun and slang for “a student who spends much time studying and has little or no social life; grind.”
I really like that word! I think I want to be a more of a technology wonk in my personal life. I don’t know if I’ll ever not have some sort of a social life but I’d totally down for learning as much as I can about things I have a passion for. I don’t ever want to stop being a student of life.
